About the project

Netoscope, a project of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, is the first data aggregation and analysis resource in Russia to address information security in the domain landscape. The website contains security information and analytical materials on the spread of malware and progress in anti-malicious activity. The website users can use an online domain check service and get reports on the types and number of malwares detected by the project partners. The participants of scientific and technological cooperation jointly develop a research platform for aggregating information about malicious resources on the Internet, analyze malware sources and exchange analytical data. The Coordination Center began working on a research platform for collecting and analyzing data on .RU, .РФ and .SU domain names suspected of malware distribution in 2012.

Domain check

A malicious code that steals personal information or infects your computer with viruses can be stored on any web page you visit. If a web page seems suspicious, copy the domain name and enter it in the form below. If the domain name you entered is in our database, we will immediately inform you about it. If this domain is not in our database, please report the suspicious resource, and specialists from the participating companies will check whether it is harmful or not.

If you suspect a resource addressed by a domain name in .RU and .РФ ccTLDs of malware distribution, botnet, or phishing activities, you can report it to the hotline of one of the competent organizations on the Domain Patrol project.
