Adobe releases Priority 1 update for Flash Player

Adobe recommends that all Flash Player users on Windows and MacOs systems upgrade their software as soon as possible to remove a critical vulnerability that could potentially allow an attacker to remotely take control of the affected system.

Adobe said in a statement that there are recorded instances of cyber criminals doing this, and therefore the threat is not theoretical but quite practical. The company said the threat is especially high for the Flash Player versions installed with Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, but that all users should upgrade their Flash Player. Adobe categorizes this update with Priority Rating 1, Adobe’s highest threat level.
